The Lagoon

Probably doesn’t need much of an introduction! Home to The Lady. This lake is around 30 acres in size with two islands.
Depths range from 6-25’. Currently the stock of carp is low, with probably about 30 fish present. There may be more, there’s
certainly a few special fish which haven’t seen the bank for a while. The Lady made 60+ last year for the first time making
her around the 4th biggest proper carp in the country... open debate! Second in command is a fish known as the Black Pig which
hovers around the 43+ mark. There are also some stunning linears and commons present all around 30+ and some real character
fish, ‘Dumpys’, ‘Bobs’, ‘Robs’, ‘The Terminator’ and 'Eight Ball' to name a few! In addition to the carp, there is a big head
of very large bream, with fish to 15+, good tench, consistent specimen pike fishing in the winter and some big big perch. Also
in all the lakes, as they are close to the River Ouse, there is very good eel fishing available. I wouldn’t be surprised if
one of the lakes didn’t produce a very large snake should someone have a go for them.
