Club Rules 1st April 2009 - 31st March 2010
The Club rules for the 2009-2010 fishing season are as follows :-
- Anglers fishing do so on the understanding that O & H Properties Ltd and St.Ives Lakes Ltd accept no liability whatsoever for loss of life, damage, injury or loss to persons or property whilst on site.
- All anglers on production of a valid permit are entitled to demand to see the permit of any other angler fishing the waters.
- Officially appointed bailiffs have the authority to suspend, expel or refuse admission to any person whose conduct is deemed detrimental to the interest of the fishery. Angler’s luggage, equipment and vehicles may be inspected at any time whilst on site.
- No more than 3 rods to be used at any one time. Anglers should observe a 2-rod limit on Andersons, Ivo and Lowry’s lakes.
- Large unhooking mats will be used.
- No alcohol or drugs to be taken on site.
- No live baiting.
- No wading or swimming.
- Anglers are responsible for all litter in the area they fish. Take all rubbish Home.
- Anglers are forbidden to light fires, or cut trees or branches.
- The volume of radios must be kept so as not to disturb others.
- Anglers are forbidden to take guns onto the Complex.
- Wildlife and nests must not be disturbed. Please observe the country code.
- No multiple hook rigs with the exception of pike traces.
- No rods with baits in the water to be left unattended. Any rods deemed by fishery bailiffs to be improperly attended will be wound in.
- No boating. Bait boats are permitted on the Lagoon and Shallow Pit between 1st Nov to 31st March.
- Removal or movement from one water to another of any fish is forbidden and will result in prosecution and an instant lifetime ban.
- Any disciplinary matters made by ST IVES LAKES Bailiffs and the Fisheries Manager will be final.
- There will be seasonal changes of access due to weather conditions etc, signs will be posted and must be adhered to.
- There may be changes to rules and some fish-in type events organised during the year, members will be notified by signage and on the website.
