Andersons

This is one of the smaller lakes on the complex, alongside Lowries and The Ivo. It offers fantastic
tench fishing in the spring and summer with regular bags of tench in the 6-8lb range. It is a weedy
water though, so some effort may be needed with a rake to prepare some of the swims… which from what
I remember, used to be a traditional thing to do before tench fishing anyway! There are some lovely
secluded swims, reed beds and lilies with average depths of about 6‘. A real traditional tench water.
In addition to the tench, there are specimen rudd, bream and LARGE pike present, and carp to 30+. See
Terry Hearns chapter on St Ives for Details!
