Over the last 15 years or so, the St Ives lakes complex has grown in popularity. This is mainly due to the fish known as The Fat Lady, however there are many other known big fish on site, with some real fishy 'jewels' to be found in Meadow Lake, The Fjords and Long Reach... These are all big wild waters where watercraft and good old fashioned effort may help you catch the fish of a lifetime. The Black Linear resides in Meadow lake and was recently banked at 37 and a very lucky tench angler managed to catch one of the real rare mirrors at 44 on caster!
In addition to the carp fishing there are good tench, bream, rudd, perch, pike and some massive eels in all the other waters on site.
